Canyonlands National Park is located in southern Utah. It is a large park which consists of several sections.

This photograph is tken from the Grandview Point overlook in the Island In The Sky section of the park. The photo is of the White Rim and the canyon below.

At one time the park was an inland sea. When the water receded the salt left a white residue on the rim of the canyon.
